Working with Ocean's Edge Landscaping is straightforward, transparent, and stress-free. We have refined our process over years of serving Palm Beach County homeowners, HOA communities, and commercial properties to ensure that every project runs smoothly from the very first phone call to the final walkthrough and beyond. Get in Touch

Step 1 of 6

Get in Touch

Your journey to a stunning landscape begins with a simple phone call, email, or website form submission. When you reach out to us, you will connect with a real person who understands landscaping, not an answering service or chatbot. We ask a few basic questions about your property type, location, and what you are hoping to accomplish, then schedule a convenient time for your free on-site consultation. We pride ourselves on same-day response to every inquiry. Whether you call us at 561-779-5765 during business hours or submit a contact form at midnight, you will hear back from our team before the end of the next business day. There is never any pressure or obligation.

On-Site Consultation

Step 2 of 6

On-Site Consultation

We believe that great landscaping starts with truly understanding your property and your vision. During your free on-site consultation, the owner personally visits your property to walk the grounds, assess existing conditions, and listen to what you want your outdoor space to become. We evaluate soil quality, sun and shade patterns, drainage flow, existing irrigation infrastructure, and any salt or wind exposure factors that will influence plant selection. We take detailed measurements and photographs to inform the design process. This is also your opportunity to share inspiration photos, discuss your budget range, and ask any questions. The consultation typically lasts thirty to sixty minutes and there is absolutely no cost or obligation involved.

Plan Presentation

Step 3 of 6

Plan Presentation

Within forty-eight hours of your on-site consultation, we deliver a comprehensive landscape proposal tailored specifically to your property. This document includes a detailed scope of work describing every element of the project, a complete plant and materials list with species names and quantities, a clear and itemized pricing breakdown with no hidden fees or vague line items, and an estimated project timeline from start to finish. For design projects, we include visual renderings so you can see exactly what your finished landscape will look like before any work begins. We review the proposal with you in person or over a video call, walking through every detail and answering your questions. If adjustments are needed, we revise the plan until it perfectly matches your expectations and budget.

Plan Approval

Step 4 of 6

Plan Approval

Once you are fully satisfied with the proposed design and pricing, we formalize the agreement and get your project on the calendar. You sign off on the final scope of work, and we collect a deposit to secure your start date and begin ordering materials. If your project requires any permits from the city or county, we handle the entire permitting process on your behalf so you do not have to navigate municipal paperwork. For properties within HOA-governed communities, we also prepare and submit architectural review board applications with all necessary documentation, landscape plans, and plant specifications. We keep you informed at every step and confirm your scheduled start date well in advance so you can plan accordingly.

Installation

Step 5 of 6

Installation

This is where your landscape vision becomes reality. Our fully-staffed installation crews arrive on your scheduled start date with all materials, equipment, and plants ready to go. The owner provides on-site supervision throughout the project to ensure every detail matches the approved plan. We send you daily progress updates with photos so you always know exactly where things stand, even if you are not home during the work. Our crews maintain a clean, organized worksite at all times, protecting your driveway, walkways, and existing landscaping from damage. We coordinate with your irrigation contractor, electrician, or pool company if any concurrent work is taking place. Most residential projects are completed within one to two weeks depending on scope.

Walkthrough & Maintenance

Step 6 of 6

Walkthrough & Maintenance

When installation is complete, we schedule a final walkthrough with you to inspect every element of the finished project together. We walk the entire property, point out key features, explain care instructions for new plantings, and review your irrigation schedule and settings. If anything does not meet your expectations, we address it immediately before considering the project complete. All installations come with our workmanship warranty, and we guarantee plant survival during the establishment period. From there, we offer optional ongoing maintenance plans that protect your investment for years to come. Our maintenance programs include weekly lawn care, monthly bed maintenance, quarterly fertilization, seasonal color rotations, and irrigation system monitoring to keep your landscape thriving in every season.

From First Call to Finished Landscape

Our entire process is designed around one goal: making your experience as effortless and enjoyable as the landscape we create. Most projects move from initial consultation to completed installation in just two to four weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about how we work? Here are the answers to the most common questions we hear from new clients.

How long does a typical landscaping project take from start to finish?

The timeline depends on the scope of your project. A straightforward lawn renovation or planting bed refresh can be completed in two to three days. Full landscape design and installation projects for residential properties typically take one to three weeks. Larger commercial or HOA projects may take four to eight weeks. We provide a detailed timeline estimate in your proposal so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.

Is the on-site consultation really free?

Yes, absolutely. Our initial on-site consultation is completely free with no obligation. The owner personally visits your property, assesses the conditions, listens to your goals, and takes measurements. You will receive a detailed proposal within forty-eight hours of the visit, and there is no pressure to commit. We believe in earning your business through expertise and transparency, not high-pressure sales tactics.

What happens if I am not satisfied with the finished work?

Your satisfaction is our top priority. During the final walkthrough, we inspect every element of the project together. If anything does not meet the standards outlined in your approved plan, we address it immediately at no additional cost. All of our installations are backed by a workmanship warranty, and we guarantee plant survival during the establishment period. We are not finished until you are completely happy with the result.

Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?

Yes, we handle all permitting and HOA architectural review board submissions on your behalf. Our team is experienced with Palm Beach County permitting requirements and the approval processes for communities throughout the area. We prepare all necessary documentation, landscape plans, and plant specifications, then submit and follow up until approvals are secured. This is included as part of our service at no extra charge.

Can I start with just maintenance and add design services later?

Absolutely. Many of our long-term clients started with a weekly maintenance plan and later engaged us for design and installation work as their needs evolved. There is no requirement to bundle services. You can begin with lawn maintenance, add seasonal color rotations, and eventually commission a full landscape redesign whenever you are ready. We are happy to work with you at whatever pace fits your budget and timeline.
